Very nice place, that was especially well stocked for the beach lifestyle. The beach towels, cooler, and foot washer outside were all very helpful. The only possible downside was how far the location is from Placencia proper. This can also be viewed as a positive depending on your attitude. Overall great experience.

Brad's space was perfect for us. This was the beat vacation I have ever had. the grounds and beach are beautiful. you will be very happy staying here

If you’re looking for a little slice of paradise, then you need to stay at this property. Peaceful with a beach and wharf that welcome you to the Waters edge. You can spend days swimming, relaxing in the sand or lounging on the dock and watching the pelicans fish. We will be back again.

Tuvimos una estancia maravillosa en este estudio en Placencia. El espacio es muy lindo, cómodo y cuidadosamente mantenido, ideal para descansar y desconectarse. La playa privada es simplemente espectacular: limpia, tranquila y prácticamente para uno solo, lo que hace que el lugar se sienta verdaderamente paradisíaco. Es el sitio perfecto para relajarse, disfrutar del mar y la naturaleza, Sin duda, volveríamos y lo recomendamos al 100%.

Great place to stay.

The Studio was just perfect for my husband and I. Beautiful space, clean, great shower and the Entrance was away from all the other ones so it was quite private. A very short walk to the Beach and you had your feet in the Beautiful Caribbean Sea. This was a great find! Driving into Placencia Village takes about 25 minutes but it is a beautiful drive! The Village has wonderful restaurants and shops right on the beach. If you are looking for something fast paced, nightlife and such, Placencia isn't for you. It is a peaceful laid back Village. We found it to be wonderful.

I appreciated and enjoyed staying at La Vida Belize. Brad is a friendly, responsive and supportive host. He went out of his way to help me on both check in and check out days with logistics. The beach is 10m outside the door and gorgeous and calm. There is a plunge pool literally right outside. The studio has a chic, modern aesthetic that suits my taste. Placencia is about 25 mins away. Brad rented me a new and fun e-bike at a quite reasonable rate for the entire duration which was fun to get around on. I enjoyed the restaurants that are around. A few more miscellaneous points for those considering it. Brad’s helpers onsite are friendly and helpful. La Vida Belize sits pretty directly on the main road, with some traffic noise. There are two other airbnbs on the property. All in all, really cool stay. Grateful I found this as an option. Served me really well.

The place was wonderful—a perfect spot to relax. The private beach and pier was truly a highlight, offering a beautiful place to enjoy. We loved that it was just a leisurely 30-40 minute drive into town, making it easy to explore. The studio had a well-stocked kitchen, which was great because we ended up cooking quite a lot. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and appreciated how helpful and responsive Brad was.

Cons: - the property is 30-35 mins away from the airport and is located in a very isolated part of the island. The nearest store is about a 20min drive away and the nearest restaurant (resort) is about a 7min drive - NOTHING COMMERCIAL IS WALKABLE to the property. Downtown Placencia is about 40mins away - there was no grounds keeping on site to welcome us or help us during our entire stay, as mentioned in other comments - most of the inside of the property, is as advertised; however, the bed is not comfortable and there was a sewage/piping issue that kept erupting horrendous smells from the toilet - the power kept randomly turning off at various times throughout the night, the entire stay If your goal is to escape humanity and you thoroughly prepare for the transportation and food challenges, then this place is for you. However, if you want to explore the island, take in its sights and culture, and not spend 1/3 of your time commuting up and down Placencia, then explore other option

The space and property is pristine. If you’re looking for a nice quiet getaway this is the perfect spot. Make sure you’re more prepared than me as I assumed the location was in the town. It’s about a 25 drive by car north of town so you’ll need transportation. Brad was kind enough to offer an e-bike for me to get to a grocery store as the local cart and car rental business’ were closed on the weekend and sold out during my stay. The beach is beautiful, I was able to use one of the pools when the other units weren’t occupied. The property manager Lucas was very responsive and a real nice fella. I would absolutely stay again but would rent a car in Belize city for my stay in Placencia.

Cute space, thoughtful layout with functional kitchen. Had a few minor issues that were promptly resolved once the host was contacted. Quiet area, really enjoyed that solar panels were being used on the property as well.

Such a great spot! Brad’s Airbnb is modern and clean. The shower is huge and super nice. We had an amazing few nights. The beach is peaceful and we love the hammocks. Would definitely recommend to family and friends!

Absolutely wonderful. I made great use of the very close private beach to watch the sunrise.

Great peaceful location with clean modern looking studio. The kitchen was great with a fancy induction cooktop. They had two beers and a full bag of fresh ice in the fridge for us! The AC was nice and cold and the water pressure was great! The starlink high speed internet was a nice perk too. A beautiful private sand beach with a dock. We will definitely come back and probably book the main house with some friends next time!

The grounds were amazingly clean and well cared for. This studio was on the first floor with another unit above. We thought this stay was going to be more private from what we had perceived from the listing.

The Studio was a nice place for the short stay that I had. The accommodations were very nicely done. Perfect for two people at a fairly reasonable price. Everything was very clean and up to date. The studio is a little farther north on the peninsula. I always have a car when I’m in the area so it didn’t matter to me, but if you want to enjoy other areas of the peninsula…. And you should, you will need a vehicle. Over all a great place and I will stay there again in the future.

This place is an absolute PARADISE!! There's no other way to describe it. The Airbnb has everything you could possibly need and more. I don't think I've ever stayed in a place with such a great kitchen. It's a bit outside of town-- but not too far from anything at all. The location is the best part in my opinion. This place is truly serene. You have the beach, the doc, the ocean and the stars all to yourself. The beach is pristine-- like an aquarium. Every day we sat on the doc for hours watching the fish. There are free kayaks, snorkels and paddle boards. We went out and saw stingrays, nurse sharks and jellyfish. No need to pay for any tours! They have cornhole on the beach, greeted us with cold beers in the fridge and a beautiful pool with ocean views. I'll be coming here again and again. And the hosts are great! So responsive and attentive. Thank you so much for everything :)
