Perfect stay for our family of 6. Probably the best stocked kitchen appliances/tools of any air bnb we’ve ever stayed in. ( We like to be able to cook) The private dock was amazing, especially at night to look at the stars

My family and I had a lovely stay at this villa. The house was exactly as described and Brad the owner was responsive before and after booking. Great advice about getting a car over a golf cart. Plenty of great restaurants nearby and the property was perfect for a relaxing family holiday. Lucas the property manager was a good source of information and friendly and helpful. We enjoyed using kayaks and bikes! Would definitely stay again.

La Vida Belize was exactly as listed. The house, pool and grounds are all well maintained. It really is a beautiful property. The only reason we gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was the stinky smell from the seaweed piling up on the beach, but also realize this is not all within owners control. It was quite overwhelming much of the time. The stench even made it difficult to enjoy the pool a majority of the time we were there. We attempted to go on the pier a couple of times but that was short lived. Bring a good bug spray...the mosquitos were relentless much of the time. Overall, we had a good stay minus the stinky smell.

Nevertheless , we enjoyed the house and the pool - I would stay again Positive: The property is beautiful ; lots of trees ; yard well kept and maintain; pier and palapa are great and the house was very clean and all the amenities needed inlcluded ! The pool made it especially comfortable from the heat ! Negative: The third bedroom is v small with two bunks beds ; the steps up and down to get to top bunk is risky and a little slippery ; the pictures made living room and bedroom bigger than they appear ! The sargassum situation the last two days of the stay spoiled the visit - the smell got unbearable ; however , the sargassum was impacting the entire coastline so not fault on the owners

We had a great time staying at La Vida Belize! It was amazing to have our own private beach.

La Vida was the perfect getaway with friends. There was plenty of sun and sand to ride us of winter blues. In the future we will consider renting the entire property (3units) to accommodate everyone and increase privacy. A car rental is necessary. In the address MM11, means the house is found at Mile Marker 11. Oops

Private beach and pool. Pool maintenance was exceptional, property well maintained. We had an issue with the air conditioner but they responded quickly. The kitchen was well stocked, beach towels provided and the washer and dryer were a real plus. Easy drive to grocery store, restaurants and shopping.

The house was great, the views were excellent. The property was well taken care of, and we had everything we needed. One thing to point out is that one bedroom only had bunk beds, but the pictures make it look like there are three regular sized beds. Not a deal breaker, but could be important if you are planning on rooms for three couples.

House, location plus beach and pool were great. Brad, lucas etc were super responsive when we needed something. We had three kids - 14 12 and 8 and we had tons of fun and relaxation

Such a beautifully designed and well-kept place, peaceful, refreshing, and perfect for our little family getaway. We enjoyed the pool, the pristine beach, and relaxing on the pier while my husband fished. Would definitely recommend.

La Vida Belize is truly a home away from home. The house is beautiful and well-maintained. The kitchen has everything you could ever need. The views are amazing and we caught fish just off the beach via the kayak. It was everything the host described and we had a great trip.

Absolutely fantastic, clean and incredibly comfortable. The host was welcoming and responsive. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area we couldn’t have asked for better stay!

The house, pool, and beach were gorgeous. However we paid $300 extra to have this space instead of another, because it was advirtised as the entire house to ourselves. When we got there we found out that the lower level was occupied with renters.......They were very nice, so it was ok......

The casa at La Vida Belize was just what we were looking for. The view is beautiful, it’s less than 100 yards to the water, and the pool is great. The kitchen is well-stocked too. It’s a little far from the main area of Placencia (which we knew), so plan to have a rental car if you want to go to restaurants, the grocery store, etc.

Our stay at La Vida was a wonderful peaceful 3 day relaxation stop in our 2 weeks in Belize. The house is absolute perfection in aesthetic and function. It is beautiful and has many wonderful amenities inside and out. The kitchen was nicely stocked and wonderful for preparing and cooking meals. The outdoors offer many areas to relax and unwind. From the expansive porch, to the pool deck and out to the sea and the lovely dock there is plenty of peace and tranquility to be found at La Vida. Brad is wonderful to work with and his communication is extremely fast. If you are looking for a slow down this is the place to be. We are very thankful to Brad for having us and allowing us to make many memories at La Vida.

absolutely a wonderful stay! beach pool pier and seclusion! a great space for a family of 4and if you need there is another casa on property so you can rent both spaces for a family retreat! simply a wonderful perfect place for our family of 4!!! couldn’t have asked for a more perfect space! 30 minutes from placencia but we didn’t want to be in the touristy spot! this was a perfect place for us!

La Vida Belize was just like the pictures. It was very Welcoming and had all the amenities listed- private beach and all. Great central location outside of the bustle of main Placencia and close to Bocawina if looking for other things to do out of the water. Brad's place was a great stay and we enjoyed our time at the pool and at the beach. All bedrooms bathrooms are spacious and were clean. The staff on-site keeps to themselves and were nice and helpful when asked questions. I would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again. Thank you Brad for hosting us and sharing your place.

Everything was as advertised and manager and owners were very responsive to questions and quick to fix the ac unit in a bedroom when it went out. Would stay again.

We are a family of 5 and recently stayed at La Vida Belize. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. The plunge pool, beach and dock were the perfect place to relax after a day of adventure. We enjoyed being in a quieter area and didn’t mind the distance from the main area of Placencia. We rented a car and explored several areas in Belize during our stay. We used the guestbook for tips about the area and places to eat near Maya Beach. The grounds keepers were friendly and kept everything nice for us during our stay. The host responded quickly to any questions we had. During our week stay, some of the activities we were able to do included: snorkling with Captain Jak’s, visit the Bocawina Nation Park & Zip-line Adventure, fishing, a Monkey River tour and visit some Mayan Ruins. We also spent a good amount of time relaxing and reading on the beach or by the pool. We recommend staying here.

We absolutely loved our stay at La Vida Belize! The property itself is amazing, with a beautiful and peaceful beach, lovely dock, pool area, etc — and the house is equipped with everything you need, very clean, comfortable and modern. The host and property manager were wonderful to work with and very responsive — wouldn’t hesitate to book here again!

This house was an amazing stay! The pool was amazing and clean, short little path down to the beach which was private. Loved the pier and paddle boards and kayaks provided! Lucas called a cab for us to take into town when the number he initially provided didn’t work. They also helped us make accommodations for a group of 8 people. I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone looking! Be prepared to drive/taxi about 30 minutes into Placencia if you want to shop or eat dinner, but the privacy and peacefulness was worth it!

This was an absolute amazing place to stay to end our short Belize getaway! We had the beach and dock to ourselves the first night and most of the following day as the nearby casita wasn't rented. Lucas (property manager) came by shortly after we arrived to answer our questions and to take care of a minor repair (a/c in the kitchen). While it wasn't able to be rectified during ur stay, the weather was nice enough to simply use the fan to keep the place at a comfortable temperature. Check-in was simple and the home is truly wonderful and very comfortable! Both Brad and Lucas were quick to communicate and answer our questions. Highly recommend staying at this home if you head to Placencia and don't want to be right in the hustle and bustle of town and want a little privacy for your group!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. What really stood out was the privacy. We all wanted a quiet getaway from our lives of hustle and bustle. This place provided just that. None of us wanted to leave. We would book this spot again and again.

I stayed a week with two other friends. The place is beautiful, the host is phenomenal and answered all of our questions. The home is super comfy perfect location right on the beach. We celebrated my 40th birthday and made lifetime memories. I would recommend this to anyone and I would totally return and stay again! Belize is magical!

La Vida Belize was a great place to stay. All the amenities were fully enjoyed by me and my family and the location was central to get to most of tours and attractions. We would definitely stay at La Vida on a next trip to Belize.

Kids loved having their own pool. Good kitchen. Clean. Good location for day trips. Nice dock. Kids appreciated the wifi.

Carla was excellent in giving us recommendations for things to do. Brad has lists of places to eat. The home was wonderful, clean, had everything we needed for our stay plus little extras you may not expect. Totally loves our trip. Highly recommend

I stayed at La Vida Casa - Home Unit for an entire week , the home itself is so beautiful and comfortable. We love the area it’s located on. The place is so peaceful and quiet. Brat is so friendly and answered all our messages quickly. Lucas was so friendly and welcoming to us always checking on us to make sure everything was okay . The place is clean in and out . Love that we got to enjoy the pool and even go fishing. The place is more beautiful in person than in pictures. Not to far from restaurants, resorts and grocery stores.. I totally recommend staying at La Vida Belize when visiting Placencia.

The La Vida house is located on the north end of Placencia peninsula. The house was perfect for our family with three adult children. Also the house is well equipped and clean with everything you would need, including snorkel gear. Kind of off the beaten path, which is exactly what we were looking for in a rental location. We wanted to get away, but also have restaurants and things to do close by. Loved our entire stay and would definitely book this place again.

Beautiful property footsteps away from beach. Lovely patio with bbq and pool for evenings. Amazing dock off the sea. (we saw manatees!) comfortable beds and very well appointed kitchen. The location is about 35 min from the tip of Placencia village that has a lot of restaurants and snorkel and dive tours but if you rent a car or a golf cart you’ll be fine. Some days we stocked up on snacks and groceries and enjoyed the amenities the property offered. There are also places that deliver. If you have a family or like peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings I highly recommended!

Our group of 6 had a wonderful 8 night stay. The home was clean and comfortable, the pool was lovely, and the beach and amenities were great. Karla helped us out with anything we needed. Lucas, the property manager is wonderful - very responsive, knowledgeable and kind. We will stay here again without hesitation! Idyllic location with a beautiful beach. House and grounds were very nice and exactly as described. Only thing, watch out for bugs on the beach! The sandfly bites are no joke!

This place is beautiful. The house is fantastic with everything you need and more. The pool was fun and the dock was a wonderful place to watch the pelicans and sit and relax. Kayaks and paddle boards were fun. It felt safe and away from crowds.

Wat een gewéldige plek! Zee zwembad verschillende plekken om te chillen BBQ volledig uitgeruste keuken en verse kokosnoot! We konden 1 nacht bijboeken. We hebben 5 geweldige dagen gehad, we komen zeker terug! :-)

Our overnight stay at La Vida was beautiful. The cottage was well stocked, the pool was beautiful, and the beach/dock was well taken care of and highly enjoyed. Placencia was great to see and an ice cream at Tutti Frutti topped off the entire trip. We will be back.

Amazing spot in Placencia! We stayed here for 3 nights in January with our 5 guests and it was everything we wanted. The space is super comfy and everything was very clean. The beach was also maintained every day by their very friendly staff and the beach was gorgeous. The pool was also great and even bigger than in the picture. The property manager did an amazing job at communicating with us during the entire stay. The rooms were wonderful, and we stayed in the master guest room and it was top of the line! Our own bathroom with air conditioning for the hot hot days. There was a friendly couple in the cabin in front of our air b and b and we were able to share the beach/ gazebo that is out on the ocean front. There was also some kayaks and paddle boards that we were all able to use. Also, there was a pile of coconuts on the beach that the host said was available for us to drink! It was definitely a paradise vacation for all guests and would definitely come back again….and again!

Beautiful home. Had everything you could need and more. So happy they were able to accommodate us last minute. Pool was amazing, kids went in for hours at a time everyday. Pier/dock was beautiful, hammock was amazing. Beach was clean. We enjoyed the coconut water from the tree to us. Property is well kept. Definitely would stay again.
